Invictas new release of the Automatic Speedway. Bigger size, more ledgable hands, DD 51 jewel movment, NOT COSC like the original, but sweet design IMHO http://www.shopnbc.com/product/?familyid=J179203&track=-10452&cm_re=Z7-_-RV2-_-N |

It would be tempting Tony assuming it came with a working crown, all the hands attached and no mold in the box |

Invicta = Crapshoot Tempting? Not when you consider what can buy for that kind of cash. Of course you won't get value pays. Don't do it T! |

you know better than that Gumba!....wait a few mos. when they are lowered by 50% on Slop or when the hit the sales forums for 75%+ less!....This version is different from the original but pretty cool and Mark is right...remember all the problems with the original COSC version had when it was released at double this price!...I waited a couple years for my COSC Speedy tried& true and got it for a song and a dance!insane.gif |

No arguement guys, I don't plan on buying at this point. I can just wait till TimP buys one then flips it for a loss in a week or so Always though this was a great design and good looking watch though |

I caught 1 of the wee early morning shows with a new hostess and I just didn't think it had that clean look as the original COSC 2894 chrono....something was missing....I know I didn't care for the blued hands on the SS version and the black 1 was interesting enough and my choice but something just wasn't what I had expected....I'm sure some will hit the secondary market and maybe then....who knows...I still say if an original COSC Speedy shows up on a sales forum in the $600. range in great condition it is a sweet buy...granted it should also be running.... I have a Invicta but at that price I would look at other makes. I do not meen to be horrible but they do not command respect on that level to me. Last edited on Sun May 16th, 2010 04:35 pm by ndburley |
