Hey WISers...Anyone own a mechanical (manual or auto) that has an alarm or repeater?  I've seen some inexpensive russian watches with alarms.  Repeaters seem to be off the chart expensive.

Looks very cool thumbsup.gif thanks for the link.   Prices for the Russian models seem very reasonable.  I think I'll have to pick one of those up!

This one is my dress watch....Baume Mercier Alarm/GMT with the same movement as the Panerai 98.

Well, I did find a couple of nice Russian alarms. I've also expanded my search for vintage models. All nice pieces posted here too, but Graham's and Edgels kinda 'spoke to me'... Is that strange?

Graham's is a Panerai, if you can afford it go for that any day of the week.

also have a look at Seiko Bellmatics. Production was stopped in the early 70's I think due to Captain Quartz and the battery brigade.
There are some fine vintages still around of these, some on the bay etc. Just another idea.
