How bout something different.  A 7009 from the 70's with a prism crystal that you change the day wheel by pushing in the crown.

Lovely classic Seiko it seems maybe a bit higher end of seiko than my oldies, my Seiko Chronograph also date shifts the same way and the watch that started my collection a 1970's Seiko 5 that my dad passed to me is also the same

Great classics.

You do not need permission to re post a picture, if you wear it everyday post it on the daily wrist show also. ThumbsUp02.gif

If its relevant to the subject we are talking about post away!!

Thanks! The King Seiko is on a Hirsch strap w/ a deployant clasp.
I wanted to add that to my post but it only allows you too for a short time.

You guys inspire me to look a bit harder for distinctive watches.  In the meantime I'll wear these two:

Thanks Neo.  Those two are JDM, I bought them from Nathan (Kew) at OWS.  He lives in Australia and he always has some great pieces up for sale...  He is also a great guy to deal with. I believe I've seen him around here once in a while too.

Not a big Seiko fan but I do have several Orients (now more directly part of the Seiko empire:

The new Mako XL is a very nice dive watch for the money.

Although I love my "Monsters", my favorite Seiko from an appearance standpoint is the ANA (although I wish it had a 6R15 movement in it)....My favorite Orient is the Black "Beast"...

Seiko ANA

Orient Black Beast

Oo, I hope I am not too late to get in on this!,
Hello everyone, I am back after an extended period of a few months. Yay.

Here are my 2 brothers, The pretty rare Seiko Perpetual Divers, (Slr001) more commenly  reffered to as "Quartz Monsters"  The black face and the more rare "peach monster" these are considered to be the grandfather of the modern day seiko monsters, But make no mistake, they are way more massive. 48mm across. they still keep that awesome seiko glow. Ive owned over 35 seikos over the years (including the whole automatic seiko knight collection, white, orange and black, which I wish i never would have sold crap.gif)

They are the watch I send people to more than any other when they want a good solid, quality, no issue watch that can be taken under water and also not break and be under 100 usually. The only issue I have EVER had with seiko, is the commanality of them. (is that a word?)

A few of my others................I have 3 of the military models...1 blue, 2 black...my boys like them when they are not wearing their G-Shocks!  (in addition to the ANA & Black Beast...and, for some reason, couldn't find a picture of my Orange Monster)...
