Nice. I can wear it around my chest as a clocksubtlelaugh.gif. But I like it a lot. Looks like the Pam Egiziano. I think this peewee is 65mm or 68mm across.

This Uboat is 53mm diameter and the Egiziano is 60mm. The movement (caliber U28...???) has exactly same specs as the 2824-2 ETA and is most likely it.
Finally, a Uboat without a Miyota, but when you have an ETA inside: The price skyrocket and goes to the moon(Maybe Saturne next year...?)
6150$ for a watch with a 100$ movement??laughing.gif
Only withstanding 300m and "limited" to 999 pieces or "edizione speciale" of 99 pieces...
Offcourse, best to do not produce 5000 pieces mesuring 53mm at this price because it would just end selling on Ebay at 1$ starting bid after one year...And maybe 1200$ selling price.
Here it is at 4850$ starting bid:http://cgi.ebay.com/U-BOAT-WATCH-U-42-LIMITED-EDITION-99-PZ-GOLD-VERY-RARE-/160504334452?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item255ecdc874#ht_500wt_1156
In my opinion, and beeing reasonable, this watch should have a minimum 1500$ starting price, due to it's special features: No more.

Honnestly, if I had to use 4800 buks on a watch...
Mr Fontana could just kiss my non-shaved butt.

I have been looking at this U-Boat on Ashfords site and at 45mm it would work a little better for me with the huge crown on the left and at $1170. and a 3T members discount might be a good buy imo...and hopefully neither hairy nor shaved ass kissing will be necessary nor provided on this end for sure! dog smile.gif

subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif I like it but $6150.00 crap.gif If I had that kind of money to spend on a watch it would be the Rolex Deep Sea or some type of Omega watch. JMHO

I prefer Anders' DIEVAS VOYAGEUR GMT it's a steal for the moneymy love.gif plus he interact with 3T members.Thumbsup3.gif

I can agree on that: With a 3T discounthappy1.gif
But still, I have the 50mm original Russian made in titanium good for 700m: It may be rougher and with a vodka-drunken painted lume, but for under 300$, who could complain? Nasdarovia!

The crown housing is 14X17mm...The crown itself isn't big.
