Hi, What is the best general purpose watch cleaning solvent / liquid ? I cannot buy specific brands here. I need something that is widely available. Not soapy water that I then have to rinse off etc. I would like something ( a baby wipe ? ) that I can just go over the watch quickly with and it will bring up the steel and glass etc. thanks |

a nice micro-fiber towel works great and is easily found and it doesn't need to be wet...I keep one at my desk at home,in the car and the office. |

You mean like the one that was sitting in front of me that came with my reading glasses ? I will leave now........ *so embarrassed* I still like the idea of giving it an all over with something. |

PS I've always used a "SOFT" tooth brush and gel type of tooth paste. Takes only a couple of minutes if that....Has worked really well for me. Last edited on Mon Feb 14th, 2011 09:33 pm by azpops |

Try an eyeglasses cleaner. You can find it in liquid, spray, and wipes. Hand sanitizer works also. |

Veraet makes a decent one. It's a spray. They told me that if only a little is used, there is no need to wash it off. Otherwise, you can rinse it off if you bathe the watch in it. No affiliation here, it's just a decent product. Strange first post, I know! I just felt this might help. |
