In the 1990's a Famous Baseball Player Gave a Teammate a $16,000.00 Rolex as Thanks for a Favor.Who was The Player(that gave the gift) and What Was the Favor.

Roger Clemens gave Carlos Delgado the Rolex in return for Delgado switching uniform numbers.

Roger Clemens gave Carlos Delgado a Rolex ($20,000 ??) in 1997 when he went to Toronto as a "Thank You" for Delgado giving up his jersey number.


Of course the records are full of these guys giving each other high dolar watches for this or for that.

Not exactly sure if this is the "exact" occurence you are referring to Oscar.




But, unlike some guys, I readily admit to being WRONG on a fairly regular basis! :P:P

Congrats You're Both Right...and I Thought this would be a Tough One :P:P..Carlos Degado gave up #21 for Clelmens..which has always been Rogers # everywhere he has played :D
