Roger Clemens gave Carlos Delgado a Rolex ($20,000 ??) in 1997 when he went to Toronto as a "Thank You" for Delgado giving up his jersey number. Of course the records are full of these guys giving each other high dolar watches for this or for that. Not exactly sure if this is the "exact" occurence you are referring to Oscar.
