There is some funny stuff going on in this thread.... r-e-n-a-t-o-s aside... I do like this Skydweller announcement from Rolex! (I can't help but see some Yacht-Master II influence in the dial). I agree with Trent and Oscar...another classic masterpiece (that IMO, does stay true to Rolex which I always like to see) and a really cool movement too! Initially I didn't really care for it. I'm still kinda on the fence, but from a horological standpoint it's absolutely awesome. I think I'll need to see one in person to really decide whether I like it or not from a visual aspect. I will say that it's very much in line with their tool watch heritage and can see this being a very functional timepiece for someone who's always traveling for business. |
