Seiko when buying one is it worth purchasing one made in Japan Vs. Not? There is a theme can you tell. Was thinking about buying Seiko 5 Divers Auto. the Jap. version is $20 higher is it worth the higher price? http://www.superchrono.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=430&zenid=c1722c15011ccda5f90b9a139031b160 http://www.superchrono.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=66 Last edited on Sun May 21st, 2006 05:58 pm by e.avery |

I had to take a look at my Seikos including the Seiko 5 Superior models I have and they all happen to be Made in Japan :)...I have seen some of the Singapore models and didn't notice much of a difference .I did have one of the Non Japan Seiko 5 divers and thought it was Cheap in comparison..it had a rolled bracelet and felt "Tinny"...However I wasn't aware the Compass which you are looking at even came in 2 versions...Maybe some of the members who own this model as it was popular a while back can better answer your Question :D |

Regardless of where they are made, they are made under worldwide Seiko quality control processes! Last edited on Sun May 21st, 2006 09:01 pm by KenC |
