After the weekend overnight with my granddaughter, I collapsed in my easy chair in time for another goofy episode of that once great show............The Soprano's.

I woke up enuf to flip channels while in the midst of "Sniper 3" which was a pretty bad bummer also. I instantly flip to Slop for my dose of humor and incessant mind numbing verbal buffoonery and see that Lucien Picard is the "BEST WATCH I EVER SAW duJour", and they are showing a really dull, 14 karat, quartz piece for what I think was $199. (??) They (you figure out who the LP guy was...............??) had 3 different dials showing live in front of them.

Unless the fatigue and mental weariness was just absolutely throwing me off...............I swear that the first one was hesitating with a 3 tick stutter and holding position for almost 30 seconds before advancing. The second model was completely DEAD.......D.O.A......KAPUT......and I think the final one was actually working correctly. The poor camera guy was either aware or someone was directing him, because he tried valiantly to NOT show the first two on camera!

I just love LIVE TV with hucksters and mass merchandisers ! Professionalism at it's finest!

Kind of makes SNL look boring at times!

Anyone of you regular viewers catch this or have I stepped off the edge again? (I had been drinking strongly after the 3 year old went home!)

Makes you give pause when you consider how crappy that OTHER late night watch rebrander has turned out PURCHASED, and LABELED bad watches one after the other.  LP may just give them a run for the distinction of WORST WANNABE WATCH COMPANY SELLING ON HOME SHOPPING TELEVISION.

What I'd like to know is who's buying all those sets of 144 "combat knives" they're always hawking on late night TV.  Spooky!

I thought EVERYONE knew about him "OWNING" a cigar store!:shock:

Of course it was from a "previous life" which means his body could have been inhabited by one of many characters using other names like "Tom Braider", etc.

Remind me........................did he "own" this  business in Florida, Oregon, Virginia or MN. ??:X:X

What a load of hooie..............;)

You should have seen the afternoon show LP guy was calling JS the watch Goof off or something, and saying how great Slop was, and everyone else was a joke.  The rest about the head goof off is older than my time.  All those knives are being bought by the paranoid paramilitary wannabee meth. smoking KY hill billy's waiting for the Man to take over.

:shock:HEY!  Don't even think you Kentuck rednecks got the edge on us West Virginie hillbillies when it comes to stockpiling those needed supplies for when Armagedden hits!

I personally have about 20,000 rounds of Black Talons encased in poly and buried under 12 inches of cosmoline! ;) And there are a couple of Bowie knives in there ..............."just in case"!

Hell.......................if the end of the world doesn't come any time soon we are just gonna have a pig roast/shine drink off and storm the FBI complex in Clarksburg.

OR...........................

Just buy a "replica" Rolex from some dufus off of some watch forum and take a leisurely stroll down to the local mall! (You know.................where you can find a Sunglass Hut, etc.)

I hear they make excellent defense weapons.:?

You might lose the watch to "damage", but at least your reputation and integrity will be intact!  :P:P:P:P:P:P:P

After all...................you know what they say about integrity !
