Well, due to all the recent controversies about different bronzes in watches that are being advertised as 'CuSn8', and in light of being as transparent as possible to our customers, we sent in our bronze material to be tested. Here are the results, and you will note that it can be closely called CuSn6. Good stuff right there. If anyone ever wants metal tested by XRF I have one at work (testing is free, it only takes 7 minutes). All I would need is a wafer with a diameter at least 1 5/8 inches and no thicker than 1.5 inches (to fit in the cavity). I would return your sample (I just like science).
