It would have to be one great watch to be priced around $800. Seems to me to be a marketing stunt, but feel free to make up your own mind. 100 Red divers will be produced in a limited run, that watch will never see the water other than the pool, red is the first color humans loose the ability to see in low light. http://www.scorpionwatch.com/ |

They put the color choice up to a vote and this was the result. I was shocked some weeks back when they announced they were taking pre-orders at $800 a pop. I believe they have also adjusted the water resistancy to 300m to address the concern over the price tag. Its my world and in my world $800 can get me a far better diver so I am out of the chase...and I don't see any value in red...now if were orange?? Pax |

I think they were talking about the CAD DRAWINGs were of superior quality not the watch.:D:D:D:D:D:D Come on how can you say something like that w/o a watch in hand but then again other people have said worst. (They made it and people bought it) |

People that buy those for 800 are just gambling that it'll be somehow blessed with the "Dreadnaught" factor I think. They'll go for half that used a month after initial release. |
