I spent 12 years in Silicon Valley before returning to roost in Wisconsin and can tell you Jackson Square on the El Camino is the shiznit... Wish they would've let me in the door. Still they were kinder than the Ferrari dealer in Los Gatos who didn't approve of my limited means test driving one of his babies...THE BUM RUSH!!

Cool site O!

Pax, I went to the local Ferrari dealer in a 94 Mitsu 3000gt and street clothes to look.  They treated me like shit for an hour and I just would not leave.  They ran the credit check, and all of a sudden I was getting drinks brought to me.  I would not deal with that dealer on a car, last thing I said was do not ever underestimate the person coming in your door, you twits.

That straight up sux!! I can't blame the guy I dealt with since I was 24 at the time and had very little purchasing power...

But you do make a good point whcih I have tested several time by going into ADs after mowing the lawn or working on a vehicle. I have been surprised how well trained folks are and how they have been entirely non-judgmental. Too often that's not the case...

Silicon Valley Sounds like a wonderful Place.....Not I Have Always trained My Associates to Roll Out the Red Carpet for Everyone....even the Guy Only Looking for Directions.....Good Deeds are Always Rewarded When I was Trained in Sales I was told "The Ones Who Flaunt usually Have Spent all their Money on the Flaunting"

Bit of a rat race there in Silicon Valley. To make six figures and be unable to buy a home...and this is five years back.

However there were advantages...ie Jackson Square!!

A person I know that lives there.  The inflation on houses were through the roof.  I am looking for a Test. that has been well maintained and driven reg. or a full restoration.   The newer ones are not my cup of tea.  They have left a bad taste in my mouth, seem to have the wrong image.
