I'm not sure which is the newer model, but there are significant differences between the green one and the red one.

  1. Different hour, minute and PR hands
  2. Different grade movements.  I'm pretty excited about this discovery.  They obviously have different rotors.  The rotor on the red beast says "46G41" while the one on the green beast says "46G42."  The red one has a copper rotor, and the movement plates are plain.  The green one has a steel rotor with Geneva stripes, and the plates visible through the display back are decorated with perlage.
  3. The lume on the green one is significantly better, and lasts longer.  Because of this I suspect the green one is the later model, as Orient lume has improved greatly in the last year or so.
The cases, bracelets, dials and crystals are pretty much identical.

As usual, I gotta be different and get the less popular colors, and I loves 'em! :)

The red is the one on the left in this pictures:

I have a grey beast, and it has the hands of your red one. I have had it for a year now, maybe a bit longer. So I'd say your greenie is the newer one. I like the hands better on your greenie also. Wear'em in good health!!

Thanks! :) I'd love to see a picture of the grey one if you have one.
