I've been saving for my grail and I'm very close to the big purchase. My grail is an Omega moon watch and my question is as follows: Are Omega's such as the moon, bond, etc. really worth the money???? When you hold them can you realy tell the difference from other lower end watches???? The closest Omega AD to me is in Philadelphia and I'm not about to travel 2 hrs just to touch a watch...besides my wife would think I'm nuts!! Any help in this matter would be greatly appretiated. Thanks!!

You can never go wrong on OMEGA. They are my favorite brand ever. I am currently owning an SMP and Speedmaster I love them both. I used to have the Dynamic date, Seamaster 120m and Aqua Terra and didn't have any complain either. Goodluck and hope to see some photos of your grail soon... I had briefly an Omega Speedy Moonphase, wg bezel, perfectly mint, 5,400 retail. If something like that is what you're considering, as far as quality, Lord it's gorgeous. Re-sale is zilch, I bought it for 2k, never could get past the "non-hacking" of it and tried for weeks to sell it for a profit. Ended up selling it break even. You'll save huge bucks if you find one from a good forum seller. ![]()
