In the latest issue of hrWatches this was what Urich (Editor-in Chief) had to say:

"Seiko produces some of the FINEST mechanical watches in the world.

"Their Grand Seiko rivals Rolex in quality and surpasses them in craftsmanship.

"Their Crestor is a masterpiece; the Spring Drive is the height of mechanical technology in the world and their Sonnerie is nothing short of a stunning success in workmanship.

"So, it was a quiet day in Switzerland because they got complaisant with their hands in their pockets.

"Someone recently said that the three most important watch companies in the world are Patek, Rolex, and Seiko.

"I tend to agree."- - Urich

Now, I don't think all of us will be racing out to purchase these particular pieces, but it was a grand answer to the person who was putting down the company, IMHO.
