There are 2 ways to correct an out of beat movement.
1. You can move the position of the hair spring. this comes in handy when dealing with older watches that do not have a movable stud bridge. Just pry the hair spring up by the collet, turn slightly and re-install it. In newer watches we simply move the position of the stud bridge in the direction you want, either to increase + or decrease - the BPM's.
2. this gets into moving the position of the roller table and that is way to advanced for this post, if you would like details PM me and I will explain the best I can in 5 min.
