Okay, After consulting with Oscar, and going over this with Martin, it seems that there are several of you who are ready to order this piece, and perhaps there will be more. If we continue to wait until we have 25 orders it might take quite some time, and several individuals would feel compelled to order 2 pieces instead of 1 simply to ensure that the run could take place. While that is generous, it is not fair, and it is not what we believe at Orsa! Martin and I did some soul-searching, and agreed that although we might take a bit of a hit on this - your forum has embaraced Orsa - and it is time for us to return the favor. We will start taking deposit/orders next week. For every order received before October 21st. the price will be $600 We will only accept one watch per customer - unless it is for a wife, friend, etc. The warranty papers will be in the purchaser's name, address, etc. and will NOT be transferable if you decide to re-sell your Orsa (by the way, that is a new Orsa policy for ALL Orsa watches). So whether we get 30 orders, or only 3 - all orders before October 21st will be $600. All orders after October 21st will be $650 and we will reserve the right to stop taking orders on November 14th, or #33 - whichever comes first. We will be making the 3T 7 for Oscar first - only fair - and he will post pictures of it so that you have an idea of how it will look. With luck, Oscar will receive his Festivus before Halloween. Please know that while we believe that there will be 33 watches at least, however, it seems only fair that we get moving on this project, and if we lose a little on it, so be it! You have shown your support for us, and we want you to have this watch no matter how few/many there will be. Your friend at Orsa - James Henderson Orsa USA

What exactly has made it to the final cut? Relume, sapphire, numbered on dial or case? Is this watch option 1 or option 2 from you "Yes we can post" ? I would expect it to be option 2. This would be inline with the pricing info in that post and the implication Orsa would lose on a $600 watch without relume and a sapphire. Pax Last edited on Fri Sep 22nd, 2006 09:36 am by Paxman |

The Deal: Hello all - so that we are all on the same page: 1. The Orsa Sea Angler 3T is going to run whether it be for 3 or for 33. 2. We will be making Oscar's and the first five models in the first two weeks of October. 3. Based upon feedback, it seems at the moment that there are between 12 - 15 individuals are ready to buy. 4. Prices are based upon volume - and we are willing to run smaller runs to accommodate smaller volume. Keep in mind guys - if we wait for 25 orders we will be waiting some time, and some of the forum members would feel compelled to order more than one item to make certain that the minimum 25 orders was reached. 5. We will post a link for you to request an invoice for an Orsa Sea Angler 3T witihin the next seven (7) days. We ask that you DO NOT send a paypal payment until we send you an invoice 6. It will be a black dial, 3T logo at either 3 or 6 o'clock, and a 3 T green hour or minute hand. - who knows, we might even throw in an extra strap. It will NOT have a saph crystal, the dial will NOT be re-lumed. The price for the first series (ordered prior to December 1st) will be priced at $600.00 we will most likely put a numbe on the dial - for those of you not sure what you want to do, please wait to see Oscars, and then make your decision BEFORE November 30th. We will cut off all orders afer the 33rd watch has been ordered. Providing that all goes well, Oscar will have his 3T by Ocober 21st. Your friend at Orsa - James Henderson

I am in. Crissy will wait to see O's to make a decision, but she likes the Stowa I just got, so we will take 2 more than likely. The chance that she will not want one is like asking one of my children if they want chocolate.
