I went to change watches again this morning ' cause I can't get enough of those Hamilton Khaki Chronographs. I picked up my Hammy Aviation, wound it, set it and put it on. 10 minutes later, I looked at it, and, to my horror, it was not running. I took it off, wound it some more....nothing. I shook it....nothing. Ex-warrior that I am...I remained calm under fire and looked up the post that Darryl (DP022) had made reference the phone number of the Hamilton Service Center in Clearwater, FL.

I called and spoke to Elizabeth. She assured me that they were one of the authorized Hamilton Warranty Service Centers in the US. She gave me the address in Clearwater to send it to and requested that I not send the original box, that I enclose the stamped warranty card and enclose my name and address inside the box. I hesitated and said that I did not have a stamped warranty card as the watch was purchased new from TJ MAXX, quickly stating I had an email from TJ MAXX Corporate stating that they had a special arrangement with Hamilton. Elizabeth stated that not a problem and that she was familiar with that agreement and to simply enclose a copy of my receipt. I asked, since we had had this conversation, if I could send it to her attention. She replied that would be fine and that she would see that it got properly handled.

The watch will be shipped to them late today or Monday.

I will, of course, keep the board informed.

That's great... I still get the same story from the Service Center in NJ.

I went to Hamiltons website and can't find a Service Center in Clearwater, FL.  The only one that they have listed is in Boca Raton called Swiss Time Services.

Would you mind posting their address and  phone number.

By the way, I think the "bargains" at TJ Max are all a MYTH! I have spent way too many $$ on gas now driving all over friggen Phoenix. Like on the NBC show all I find is:  NO DEAL!
