Oceanaut and there customer service department I purchased an Oceanaut Submatic with the yellow dial, just because I wanted to be like my hero Ken, and it was a good deal also. It had a screw that the threads were stripped the link was fine, so I went to the web site and emailed customer service. I waited and finally got a response in the form of a fedex emial with the tracking # of the screw, a little over kill for just a screw. Now that is service, I did not get the customary "I need to see a receipt", or the "we only warranty the movement for 5 years the bracelet is not covered" just got service and not on an expensive watch either. Good job Oceanaut, that is what you pay for product and service, not bad at all. |

Good to hear Eric! Oceanaut is a Class Watch Co....or should I say a "Real" Watch Co.hand6.gif On a similar note...I took the back off of my Jean Marcel Atlas and lost one of the tiny screws(s**t happens) called JM/CS and a screw is being sent at N/C without even asking!cool10.gif |

Get a light green mat to work on that cures a lot of sins. Bergoen makes one for $13 or so has adhesive back that is great for a bench but they have some that do not have the back and that will help with screws. You can get job trays, I use them in all of the businesses that deal with customer work orders and they help us out allot. Just some idea's, have a good night. |

Mike, after me not liking the Tissot, no rephrase that hate it, I thought it time that we agree on a watch that was a safe bet, and that was the Oceanaut. I keep the Tissot as a reminder of how nerve dead some peoples wrist must be, that is pure pain on my wrist. Oscar, if you put a magnetic anything near a watch you deserve what you get. If it starts running fast send it to me and I will zap it or if I see you I can bring my zapper. The thought of inducing randomness to the order of a magnetic tool just is right up my ally. |

Eric, I do notice that a lot of WIS types buy the Tissot 1000 diver. Then they sell it. There always seems to be someone selling that watch used. There are always buyers for it too. But, I have often wondered why so many get re-sold. |

The edges on the raised display back are cut at sharp angles, and dig into the wrist as the watch moves. If it had a more rounded corner or if the full back was one elevation then the lever action of the force would not be so pronounced. If they lost the raised diplay back it would be great. |

You have that Zeno Diver, does it have a rubber O ring in the crown can? I purchased that one from Sean and I thought it could have a gasket around the stem, like conventional designs, just did not know. |

Eric you made me go home and get my Tissot Seastar 1000 just to see how it feels and although I see what you were referring to I dont have a problem with mine. Im wearing the one with the strap today:cool: ![]() depending how this watch is worn tight or just right I see someone having a problem with the two stage backing. Now about the Zeno I cant remember because I have a couple of canteen style watches and dont remember which has a gasket and which doesnt but i will look tonite when I get home. One thing I can tell you it's heavy and if you can get pass the crown then it's a great watch. My workout buddy (weight lifters) love the weight of the watch. |
