In general, people bidding on shopnbc's auction site tend to pay way more than they should. I've seen items (samples, etc.) sell for more than they are listed on shopnbc's regular site. I wouldn't trust them one bit on their auctions. It would be too easy for them to have shill bidding going on. Who is gonna monitor that? Not shopnbc. If what Ken says is true, then they won't be able to control their auctions as much. On ebay you can track who is bidding and report a shill.

Actually, I've purchased quite a bit on SNBC's auction site - only one watch but ... the rest of it, hundreds less than the last selling price. This watch box? $115 retail, sold at $100 ... ?
