I saw that too, Tony and thought what Invicta freal would want that yellow box for $100. I'm guessing there might be a ringer bid or two...

I do not mean to ask a stupid question, but was that not originally $75 new?  I think that was full retail.

In general, people bidding on shopnbc's auction site tend to pay way more than they should. I've seen items (samples, etc.) sell for more than they are listed on shopnbc's regular site.

I wouldn't trust them one bit on their auctions. It would be too easy for them to have shill bidding going on. Who is gonna monitor that? Not shopnbc.

If what Ken says is true, then they won't be able to control their auctions as much. On ebay you can track who is bidding and report a shill.

Actually, I've purchased quite a bit on SNBC's auction site - only one watch but ... the rest of it, hundreds less than the last selling price.

This watch box?  $115 retail, sold at $100 ... ?  OKAY ...

But if it was AUTOGRAPHED by Eyal and YKW ...   Well, now ... that's a horse of a different color....

LOL

It might have been that guy that called CG the other night who said he has bought over 80 Invictas this year! I thought he was either a ringer or, well, you know.
