I like and at one time collected Androids and still have quite a few...the 2890 Handcranker is sweet but will go down in price just like the Android 2824-2 skeleton for $449.now which was at $899.   but gregger imho your $ would be better spent on this Zeno COSC LE for $400. that Coach is selling!hand6.gif

I own one Android Ana-Digi but, that's a really nice  skeleton Gregger. I thought about pulling the trigger on one of those but held back because im in the process of working on a project watch for myself.

Good luck tell me what you think if you decide to get one.

This will not help at all, but this is my watch that is identical to the Zeno and I have a 7.75" wrist I got use to it.

Now I wear this Zeno it is a little over size.

Look at the picture of my Sea Gull 1963 skeleton which is a Chinese copy of a Venus 175 movement and then tell me it is an ETA movement. And the Sea Gull 1963's have been going for about $150 at WUS.

The watch has real potential, I believe the hard core look of the bezel which is a plus contradicts the skeleton appearance. Would have looked better with a black dial.

I have to say I'm shocked, but not suprised. I like some of his designs, and frankly the first pics made me seriously consider a skeleton style for the first time, but I would definitely need clarification on what kind of movement it actually is.

As Oscar said...I'm going to wait as I've seen the Androids drop a $100 or two after a while and I think I may pick it up after price reduction....

Everything else being said, the Sea-Gull 1963 is a quality movement in it's own right. Mine keeps very good time and the chrono works smoothly. But the Android version, which is only a small variation of one already in the Sea-Gull catalog, seems way over priced. A price around $295 would be more realistic, IMHO.

Marc at Island Watch was giving a Awesome deal on the Poljot Yuri Gagarin Chrono for 3T members...I snagged one in the 42mm size at a Great Price....much less than the Droid!...It has the exhibition back and although not skeletonized is a Sweet movt. as well!I should have grabbed a Sea-Gull when they were available at $125.watch2.gif
