Is anyone familiar with this brand?  I don't know how German machines rank in the world of horology but this brand interests me ...   Some of the pieces in his collection have very simple dials, almost stark, which is unusual.  Pricing is fairly high but not exorbinant

The first one that caught my eye was a single hand design .... haven't seen that too often.  I don't have a shot of it ...but this is one of his designs that I really like ...

Do anyone have any experience with this brand?

Thanks ...

Schauer\Stowa  has a excellent reputation for customer service,  I like the Schauer for the clean dial. Jorg is on the  German or Stowa forum at WUS. If you like it buy it.

Completely agree, Jorg Schauer/Stowa is the maker of excellent watches and bracelets the Artus mesh, somewhat over prices but worth every penny, you will have to excuse me for not mentioning the price.

Thanks for the replies.  I figured some folks would have knowledge of this brand.  I've been checking it out for a while, doing some research on the manufacturer.

What about German vs Swiss?  On par?

If you stick with the well known brands of German or swiss you shouldn't have any problems, It all depends on what you want in a watch. :D they both on par. JMO
