As I sit here, I reflect on my post of a little over one week ago:

"I am concerned about ORSA!

There was another thread about this that I was going to add to, but I couldn't find it.
Hopefully, this will come out right, but I am beginning to lose faith in ORSA.
Oscar was supposed to have had his watch, I believe, by September 21...it is now late November and it is still "nowhere to be found".  I was very excited about the watch at first, but it seems every commitment made has been missed.  Delivery is nowhere and the price has creeped up from the original "less than" $500 to $600..............Although I thought $600 was high for a "start-up" ETA2824-2 based Dive watch (and much higher than their previous "deliveries"), I was willing to pay the premium for delivery by Christmas.
It looks like that is not going to happen and, I am seriously reconsidering the purchase of a watch from a company that cannot meet its commitments!  I am certainly not willing to pay the $600 price for a watch delivered after Christmas.........3T LE or not!
Am I PO'd about the broken promises?  Yes!!!  Understand, this is not the fault of Oscar or 3T.......this is about promises made and NOT kept by ORSA!"

I now know, I had good reason to be concerned.  You cannot have a pattern of "mis-statement, missed commitments and false promises" without the perpetrator being a complete fraud.  Not knowing Berg, I thought it was james that was full of S**t.  After I made the above post, he contacted me to pm him about my concerns.  I did, and I got nothing but a bunch of lies in return.  Every lie he told, I spit back in his face with quotes from his own postings......I continued to support the project because I thought that at least we would get a nice watch, overpriced as it was (and a $30 in CONUS S&H fee is rediculous), that was a little different than what anybody else had.  Bottom line, it was obviously a piece of crap.

Well, now we find out what kind of joker Martin Berg is....As much as the lying sack of S**t that Hendersen was, Berg still owns the company and therefore, he and his company are responsible for hiring James and the ensuing bungling.  So, obviously Berg is a POS, also!  Let them eat their frackin" watches.

I just visited their site (BTW, let get rid of the link!) and the have reduced the price of BOTH the Silver and the Lume dial to $435...........they'll probably have an SNBC clearance soon subtlelaugh.gif !

And those of us who post on other forums, when the name ORSA is mentioned........BLAST THEM!

Other than that, I'm having a pretty good day!

since I'm not involved with this project all I can say is that I feel for you guys. Nothing like taking advantage of a persons love/hobby. I got PM'd by James a number of times referring to a few of my watches needless to say the PM's were hard to understand and didn't make much sense......

To all of the member s here at 3T I would like to apologize as to the turn of events in regards to the Orsa/3T LE! I feel that we did find out in the knick of time what Orsa Watch is all about and the bottom line was not in our favor.I became worried with the quality of the Watches after finding out that some of the dials were badly blemished includinig mine due to mistakes at the logo stampers who made many mistakes due to mis communication between them and James!.I was offered another but only after refusing to have mine repaired...I want no one to hold Kent responsible as he was not the stamper and went above and beyond to try and complete what seemed impossible under the pressure of James from Orsa his work on the Watch was truly Amazing!! I found out that there were several of these reworked dials and had asked none be used for any of our members and received no guarantees from James! I had agreed to two invoices one for down payment and another for final payment which is customary but was only aware once invoices went out that two paypal addys were being used...one being James in which I advised that this would raise suspicion and my request was ignored.I do not believe that Martin knew what James was doing as most of my e-mails were being ignored by Martin and only James was in contact with me which I became very uncomfortable with as James only did what James wanted to do ....even after many repeated requests to not do so! It became apparent after the threat of the project being cancelled by us that James had only one intention and that was to make some quick cash! It is and my firm belief that James has No Watch experience and stumbled through this project refusing any rational advise from me.I lso believe he rushed the project in fear of losing it at the end and had not one care as to the members of this forum including myself! Orders were to be done through me and by # at which once again a nervous little fellow(James) decided to jump the gun as he could not wait for the list from me and contacted daanbc in which James took his money in full and later told me daanbc couldn't wait so he went ahead as to make him happy...another lie as daanbc provided me with the e-mails from James asking for the payment in full since his was going to have a sig.I can say I was very unhappy with James and said we would no longer deal with him at all and e-mailed Martin with my concerns...I heard nothing all day from him and finally said the only way this project would go forward was with a 10% discount if not better...especially seeing that Silver Anglers reappeared because of canceled orders due to slow shipping and lack of straps and poor CS/QC and the Lume Dial being lowered to $435 due to No Sales! I believe Orsa Watch is in dire straits for cash we were that cash cow! I alpogize to my friends here at 3T and hope we can move past this less than happy experience as I have learned much about the amount of Trust I put in people! Again My Deepest Apologies to my 3T Friends!

Oscar,

Like I mentioned in my e-mail to you. You have nothing to be sorry for or embarrassed about. Business deals through a computer screen make it difficult to judge a persons character.

Nothing like looking a fool in the eye and seeing what thay really are all about:)

Oscar,

There is absolutely no need for and apology from anyone except the buffoons at ORSA.  We all understand what went on.....the management of ORSA (both James and Martin) turned out to be unscrupulous, unethical business people looking to make a big score on people they mistakenly thought were unsuspecting.....It was their mistake, not yours or ours.

Their mistakes (not to mention their rediculous price increases) with the Siver Anglar cost them sales with the Lume Anglar.  It appears they tried to make it up with an outrageously priced3T model that, after losing it's LE status, became worth no more than others.  Additionally, they tried to "con" us with inferior quality control, not to mention the lies, missed commitmemnts and lack of adherence to the original plan and design.

Alas, we have found a new defintion of the term "dirtbags", and we have been able to identify to the market, the new low volume Invicta!!!

Let me specifically point out that Kent Parks is a quality entrepreneur, outstanding watch maker and a totally ethical, beyond reproach member of the watch community.  In no way does this fiasco reflect on his character or skills!

I agree with Tony .... With your business experience you saw some cracks in what James and Orsa was trying to do .... You worked hard to put this deal together and you got the runaround .... I believe James knows little about business and less about watches .... If you look at Orsa's situation right now , they look to be hurting as they are fighting delays and product quality issues

Oscar-

No need for you to apologize for anything. I feel terrible for all the effort you put forth trying to get this project completed. Your efforts are most appeciated.

You know we are behind you 100% whatever the outcome.

Orsa will continue its downhill descent which we now know is well deserved. 3T brothers till the end.

Sorry to hear about all your problem, this really sucks! What a wonderful idea it was, and I know there was a lot of anticipation for what would've been a great project. Let's hope these dirtbags go out of business soon, as more people see what idiots they really are!

David

Oscar, Thank you for making things right. What I mean is that you helped me in the refunds of my money. For that I am greatfull. I am only out $11.07. That is nothing compares to the $630.00 I will take this as a learning exp. Also thank you for showing the light to the others that I in no-way tried to get My watch ahead of time. Like I said before He asked for all my info, stating he could not get in touch with you. I am so glad that I had most of those e-mails to show as proof. If not, I would hope you would take my word. I may not post alot, or know alot about watches. But I do read most of the articles. And love the watches I have remaining. Yes I am down to three watches, well four if you include my very first one I recieved (hotwheels watch) I look forward in getting others with the guidance of this board. Daanbc.

Dave...I never doubted You Buddy!....James can lie like only one other person and feel no remorse at all.....and actually believe himself regardless of Proof :( I have 50 e-mails and never missed a call or voice mail from James..as a matter of fact He and Martin ignored many of mine and especially any of my advice as how the Sale of the Watch should be handled especially the price after seeing how they lowered their Prices on everything else!...Like I said...I truly believe we were their way out of debt and once 3T began to grumble over the broken promises and deadlines... James rushed out a Watch in order to try and Cash in as fast as possible!... LE engraving certificate....sigs for the first 15 if Paid in Full...payment Plan but You don't get the Watch until it is Fully Paid...all of a sudden a Transferrrable warranty....15 ready and shiped in time for X-Mas ...this is what was being told me by James and written here as well !.... everything a con would say to make the sale...just what we wanted to hear!....imagine what He heard from me!:X Martin only stepped in the very last couple Days when He saw what was Happening and yet James was still able to con Him into giving him full support....that's what really Sucked!...I Hope Martin is Happy now because instead of having a Forum Full of Free advertisement if he had just finished the Project on his own and agreed to my offer of 10% off for all ...He now has thousands of WIS who visit this Forum daily thinking Twice before buying an Orsa Watch!!watch2.gif Oscar, Thank you for making things right.
