Ebay cancelled my odd thomas listing because of ?

Dear yamahaki3,

You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

Good question, Sean. I gues TAG wasn't phishing eBay to protect its "intelectual" property when you bough the darn thing...

didn't rgm sell a butt load of those cases with there own movements? somebody here has one. suisse didn't crack heads on that or the real prototypes that sold 2 mos. ago.

Its me with the RLT-29. RLT sold 80-90 of them a while back...

I've seen them on the bay but not identified as Tag but rather RLT. You could probably relist it without the Tag info...

Welcome to the club, Sean.  Same thing happened to me.  I was selling a watch like this one, calling it a Hamilton tank watch.  Cartier objected to eBay, saying "tank" is the exclusive property of Cartier.  What a chickens**t thing for them to do regarding the sale of a 50+ year old watch!

I didn't think you could infringe on a style, not a brand. A tank is a general description, not a brand.

That's what I thought, too.  I guess Cartier introduced the name long ago and it 'enjoyed' expanded usage, kinda like Kleenex and Scotch tape.
