I've got a buddy looking for a Seiko SND255. Boris doesn't have it. Anybody got a good source for Seikos?

Thanks in advance.

That's the one. I sent him that way but I think he's leery of the Bay.

Just warn your buddy that it has a folded link bracelet.  A friend of mine purchased one and was disappointed by this.  I think the watch still looks sharp, especially the subdial with two hands.

Thanks for the info, ej and jcko. I've forwarded it on to my bud. He's not much of a WIS so he needed an explanation regarding the bracelet. He wasn't at all concerned. I'll keep plugging away and may be make a WIS out of him. This is a nice first step.

3T and it's members kick ass!!

Talk him out of quartz watches... No offense but I would rather strap a cellphone to my wrist than use a quartz watch.

He's just starting out. We'll give him some time. And there is value in quartzies...

Funny you shuold say that about a cellphone. One of my buds at work gave me sh*t by strapping his pager to his wrist. He asked it I wanted to see his new watch which he dubbed the Ameritech 2000... and there it was in all its glory... He said it looked like my Magico.

Perhaps but my love affair with timepieces began with the magic of the automatics. It's almost as if they are alive..tick tock. I really appreciate the purely mechanical aspect of automatics. Batteries are too temporary for me. I like that the auto somewhat self sufficient so long as it is worn.
