I know thats a bad name here, but my invicta elite swiss made chronograph finally gave up. It was my 1st purchase on ebay, like 6 years ago or more. It has survived 3 bike racing wreaks, 6 years of automotive painting. being cleaned with laq. thinner, run over by a freightliner.

Where can I get another one? it really is the best beater watch I've owned.  Would like to stay under 150.00 for a new one, and not buy it at slop.

Thanks Oscar! I'm sure theres something in the toolbox thats been overlooked. I am glad that nobodies throwing insults about invictas elite series. It is one of there proven performers. I just hate not having one Invicta in my stashhand6.gif

If I recall from early last year you were hawking some invicta exectutives at the Wus forum and one subaqua noma that got us introduced, you setting me straight on buying and selling and eventually being invited to this forum, which I am very gratefull. The watchuseek forum just doesn't cut it anymore for me.You know what I'm talking about. theres no sense of humor, the admins smack you down if you disagree about a dive topic, or your just plain ignored when asking for information on a specific watch. Here I see very informative people, like pax, eric, you, canajo, ken and others. theres no judgment calls on what people are collecting. Thats very important to me. some here collect Seiko's, some Russians, and the sponsors like to get in on a conversation without hawking there wears.

I have to agree with Yamahaki on this one and thank O for the invite to 3T. i know some may wish he had never done it, but I am glad to be a part of this community. Sean's commnets are pretty right on the mark.!! We have a great group here and Ihope we continue to grow and become more active in the future.

And by the way... I guess noone has said it yet... Invicta bites!! But sometimes they get 'em right... CRAPSHOOT!!

Had to do it, Sean...

I will put in my 2 cents, I personally love the older elite series.  I have not worn one since they changed to the thicker bracelet and changed the dial and bezel ( plus other specs but I do not have the time to list ).  I almost purchased one after I destroyed mine, just can not bring my self to do it.  It is the best grill timer I ever used and was easy to wear, when it was lighter a long time ago (4 or 5 years was the end of the originals production with the real ETA G-10).
