For example Seiko = #1 category in gross sales in the $150million+ range which means that they sold around 1 million watches. Then there is Patek Philippe with sales at around $100million range which means that they sold 10 watches.face4.gif

Don't know if Victorinox/Swiss Army opening their own factory is a good thing or not...especially since the last 2 years the Swiss Army Watch Line like the Ambassabor and Air Boss have been made in the Breitling factory...think I'll be off to my local Swiss Army AD and grab a 1 of those while they have themhand6.gif

You know you may not be too far off. The article says that their biggest hurdle has been finding qualified watchmakers. They then go on to say that their location has the benefit of being near a watchmakers school. Not certain that having newbies running the show is the best way to have the highest standards??
