Cribbed from another forum:

"I was surfing the channels last night, and came across Jim Skelton selling a Swiss made quartz Invicta on clearance for only $99. Now right up front, I must say Jim is a great guy, and the watch he was selling was probably a great buy. But one of his selling points (hey, we all have to make a living) almost made me choke on my late night snack! Jim remarked: "Come on folks, when you are buying a watch for only $99, your lucky if your getting something thats even in working order when it arrives, let alone a great Swiss timepiece.""

Pax,

I read it on another forum where they are ....well.....rather taken by JS and crew.  I would tend to believe it as this was the single most negative thing said on that forum about Invicta.face4.gif

If you're speaking of the "Kool-Aid" forum I think you might be surprised at just how fed up they are with Invictum particularly in regards to QC. And this is from my recollection a month or so ago.

They do give "Corona Brown Eye" a pass though he is guilty of whoring himself out to his yellow overlords!!

I think these were the famous last words of many on the Cigar Forum before they were all taken for a ride on the con man express!mistake.gif

To me it was just an amazing thing to read.  I mean really - lucky to have it arrive in working condition?  Never, ever heard of Seiko did he?

I'm finding myself limiting my wanderings through WISdom these days.  One is too high tone and snooty, another is too "Wow another X!", another ...well.....like I said my main complaint is that I've turned into a complainer!
