I remember when overstocked sold them for $199..........I do remember someone telling us they would go up in price because someone in Hollywood was wearing them..

I remember them on the big O too. Didn't Eric Aldovino just have one up for sale? Anyone note SAH is selling Tissots too?

Tony,

Overstock had just about every model in every color. At one point during one of their 15% off all watches sales, the prices of some dropped well below the $200 mark. Like $179, etc. Then they sort of faded away for awhile.

Take a look at Bodying.com - every single price is at the highest end of the price range for that particular watch.  They sell Seiko Spirits for about 150% what you can get them direct from Japan.  Interesting business model - sell hard to find watches at higher than typical prices............
