I'm lookin' at both of these Zeno's. I made these photos up from stuff I pulled off the web. Myself, I'm sold on the first one (pilot style with rotating inner bezel), but last night I came across this carbon fiber model. What do you think?

Paula Abdual rating :D     Simon Cowell rating :X

I like the first one but not the second.  The inner bezel adds a bit to the top one.  The bottom one however... I'm just not feeling the "carbon-fiber" dial look, expecially for Zeno styling.  Also, judging by the relative size of the movements, the top is probably around 40 mm whereas the bottom might be 45 mm or so?  Don't know if that matters to you.

The first is great!    hand6.gif

The carbon fiber is thumbs down, aka Simon Cowell.

Forgot the sizes. 41mm for the first one. 44mm to 47mm (I don't know the actual size yet) based on the case back. The first one has the higher grade ETA 28,800 beat movement. I know nothing about the CF dialed version yet.

Zeno uses Superluminova on their watches.

I vote for the first one - a very unique look with the inner bezel pilot.  hand6.gif

I like the first one a lot:dude:

The second one really doesn't appeal to me at all:(

I might like the first one better if it had the strap from the second one on it insteadface4.gif

I am a carbon fibre fan to the core. It comes from making race bikes lighter. But no.1 is by far the nicer watch. I like the internal bezel turn. I have those on my vixa's and one of my zeno's. Its pure class.

I like the second watch with all of it's numbers .I like the fact that the 3 has not been eaten for the date window and the dial looks like it is very easy to read at night. It is a very large watch though probably as large as some of the pocket watches i saw today. What advantage does 28'800 bph movement have?

I believe its more accurate than the 21'600bph movement.

I've never been a fan of carbon fiber dial. So, like the majority I like the first one.

It looks cool!!!

I have to admit I'm very surprised. I thought it would be around half and half on this comparison.

Well #1 is actually cheaper at a $595 retail. I could only find a Japanese Yen value on the CF dial model, but it looks to be around $650. Now, about that drink... :D

Jeeze, have Carbon Fiber dials become passé? It seems CF straps sell very well. I never expected the CF dial version to get this much of a pounding (so-to-speak). coyote2.gif

I like the carbon fiber and you will change the strap any way.  As far as how many carbon fiber Zeno's are made compared to the others, plus purchase things made well that others do not want and hold it until they just have to have it.  No matter how things change they always stay the same, read up on Rome much?
