There has been some discussion of adding some new aspects to the forum...one of them being an area(sub-fora) to discuss and display your watch straps, collector cases, winders and accessories of all sorts...what do the members think 3T'rs please take the time to discuss any ideas in this thread and vote in the poll hand6.gif

It would shorten the time on locating a strap or a winder. I'd like to see other members accessories, maybe get some good ideas.

cool10.gifIt is one of the aspects of visiting TZ-UK that I like a great deal. I realize that that forum has the lowest post count but there is a lot of information there and people check it out as I found out when I had questions about XL straps. I found a good supplier in Germany through TZ-UK's Leather, etc. forum. I also think that straps are all too often under-rated in their impact on the watch itself. I know that here that topic is frequently commented upon - again that's a plus for 3T in my book - but in the broader WIS community I think its a woefully neglected topic.:dude:

I think it's a gr8 idea Oscar...there is nothing better than clicking on a tab and going directly to the area you want...it's like a fine tuned filing system....hand6.gif

As I am all for making things simpler rather than more complex, I was originally against this, but on reflection, even if it means a different sub-forum, for those looking for specifics, it actually makes things easier. It may also invite more discussion on the topic which would be great (I can tell everybody how much I dislike Seiko oem rubber straps!:D) That said, I realize that many of us view the forum in diferrent ways. Some simply click on "Recent" and review post in a chronological order rather than a category order. Others use the individual forum links...........regardless, I think we should give this a try and see how much activity it get among members and guests. If it works......great! If it doesn't work..........it's not the end of the world!

A list of vendors is good; but a sub-forum where we could see straps on watches, discuss the upside/downside of accessories etc would be extremely helpful... especially to those of us that have many times more straps than watches, need additional storage ideas etc. Great idea Oscar...hand6.gif
