My oldest trashed an automatic at work, I don't think its his fault, yah right. So I took it back to keep and repair and gave him this on a Watchadoo. I don't think this one will comeback damaged:D

I am trying to get both of mine into it, I don't ever want to see them using a cell phone to tell time! My youngest has a mil style Timex that he wears now and again (he's 9), and my oldest has his own watch box :D His favorites are a Citizen RR Approved (he's a rail buff) and a yellow "Ray" diver he stole from me last summer. I have his first auto waiting in the wings, an Orient I picked up for 40 bucks on the 'bay. Cheers, Griff

I gave both my sons watches on their 16th birthdays... my oldest got this Tag Heuer Sel (but with a charcoal dial): and my youngest got this Tissot PRS516:  They both only have the one watch each - gonna have to provide them some fatherly guidance on the advantages of owning a 'few' spares (:shock::shock:)..

My son and daughter, both in their early 30's now, have come to expect a watch from me on significant holidays. Both have collector watch boxes now and I suspect they are only indulging my addiction in a very codependant way.

My son and daughter are into watches and enjoy receiving them most:D My son is a creature of habit and has an open door to any of my watches but he likes 40mm for size and mainly divers...Silver or black dials and has been wearing a 1st gen Invicta S1 in silver for 3 years now...runs fast but he enjoys setting the time and will only wear automatics...bracelet has been changed 3 timeshand6.gif My daughter likes watches with wide straps and has 8 watches of all different styles and makes now in her collection...pink is her favorite color on a watch even at 18 yrs. old :).... both kids like watches and support my habit...if Horology/Collecting watches rubs off it would only be a good thing imhowatch2.gif:)

My oldest daughter, 17, could care less what time it is - but since she is always running late for things, she should prob get used to wearing a watch. My youngest daughter, 16, loves pink as well - and believe it or not, she has had two Invictas, one of which was pink MOP dial on a pink strap. Right now she has a Michelle chrono with blue dial on a black strap, but she keeps hinting about another pink one.... that's my girl! hearteyes.gif O.A. Am sure he will love it Marc... my dad had some nice vintage Hamiltons (drove by the factory in Lancaster, PA many times growing up) - which I would have loved to have, but my mother sold them off before I could grab em. Well for me, it was an old Raymond Weil watch I bought back in 1980 from an AD here in Orlando... still have the watch, stored away, but no pic. It looked alot like the Piaget Polo: very thin and narrow.
