Got this one from Marc at Island Watch the other day. Ken C wants one, but doesn't know it. I put a light brown strap on mine today to further encourage Mr. C...

Mike, how the hell have you been? That is a nice clean dial on that Trias. It's hard to beat a Unitas with a case and dial like that. You don't even need a strap to make it look nice.:D

I have been just fine. Thanks for asking. And yourself? OK too I hope. I see lots of your posts here and a few back at WUS. The dial on the Trias is plain. But, that's what I like. Simple. And, this one is built really well. Put another name on it and it would sell for twice the price. Maybe a tad more.

Mike.........you and the Trias website refer to it as the "Backgammon"..............is it the one on Marc's site that he has labeled "Trias WWII Style Swiss Hand Wind Unitas Watch #30317"? It certainly looks the same! :?

Yes, that is the watch. The infamous Backgammon with a Black dial. I did see it in white on a German site, but they want an extra 30 euro's for it. I know you wouldn't want white anyway, but that's the color of my first one (that I shouldn't have sold to my friend). Did you get the latest Island Watch newsletter?

Who doesn't like you??? Ok, maybe some guy on a certain forum we won't bring up. But, no one else.

Ya gotta type your email in the box under the logo on the home page. Then click on the Subscribe button. He has a winder special right now and some other watch specials. If you have a Junk Mail filter, its possible that it hasn't made it through to you.
