The Sinn UX GSG9 special forces watch features:
  • case made from the same steel as the latest generation of German military submarines (resists the effects of exposure to salt water)
  • ETA 955.652 quartz movement, certified chronometer
  • filled with pure silicon oil, which enhances the readability of the dial and time from any angle (including under water), and increasing the water resistance of the watch even at great depths
  • special battery with an expected life of seven years
  • thick sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating
  • uni-directional ratchet operated rotating bezel, with indices machined directly into the bezel

A good looking watch for sure.  I am not normally interested in quartz watches, but this one could push me over the edge.  I wish the U1 had these hands.

I'd be on that watch like stink on an Invicta, but the whole sending it back to Germany for a battery change thing is making me think twice.

battery is good for 10 years. I don't hang on to one long enough for a service:D

Not interested in this one though. the case size is 41mm while the ux is 44mm and same movement.
