Whooooooo, just got a new camera - Sony Alpha DSLR. Delivered to office. Charged the battery, set the white balance, set the aperature and set 2 watches on the desk. Here are the 8th and 11th shots I took after switching it on. Man, this thing is gonna rock with decent lighting.

Happy boy :-)

Just ordinary overhead strip lighting. I set the white balance using the custom mode and it came out pretty darn good.

Pics look good. Wish my older camera was as easy to setup and use to get decent quick pics.

fantastic....I'm looking into a DSLR...these point and shot zooms don't work very good with kids and sports.....at least that's what I tell the wife.....:D

Thanks Guys. I really need to get the studio set up with proper lighting AND read the manual. Click and shoot aint gonna work with this camera :-) We are in a whole different ball game now. ISO, apperature, shutter speed. Easy on a point and shoot. Much more fiddling with manual, but potential for much better shots.
