What is the deal with Festina?  I've seen their watches at a Zales outlet.  They had one that caught my eye.  It was a myota movement with a sub seconds hand.  The case was huge making it look similar to a Unitas.  Decent quality?  They had tons of different models.  To me it looked on par with Invicta and seems to follow the same business model.

I've seen that same watch in the same setting and it caught my eye too...

It was overpriced though for what it was and looking at the collection I am gonna guess they are hawking wares from the same Asian factories as the aforementioned In^ictum...

I've seen the new Festina's. kinda like the new Sector quartz. They feel hollow. Now this older Festina isn't asian at all. its swiss. Very heavy and is from 1990's. Back then they could only be gotten at michaels jewelers or if you bought the bicycle.hand6.gif

Nice looking watch but it needs another crown or two!!

All kidding aside-I have an older Festina that needs a battery.

Maybe I'll get one put in because they are decent watches.

Very good question. I did buy the bike for the watch. I was looking at a cannondale and the greg lemond, both the same price, same gear sets and wheels. The watch cinched the deal. I am a watch sl#thand6.gif
