Listen guys, we need a list of forum members here who bid on ebay. Please put your ebay id up. Theres no sense in a bidding war against someone when there a member here. I use "chronomeister" but only bid through eSnipe with seconds remaining. Since I usually set up my bid days in advance, I never see other bidders. The upside is that virtually all my buying is in vintage watches, so I'm unlikely to step on anyone here. :D |

maybe:D 3 years ago it was ducman. i have 2 ducati's still, but switched the name mainly for the yamaha i race now. next year it will go back to ducman. new sponsors and bike dictates it. |

I also bid mainly by scheduled snipes, so as to avoid bidding wars, and don't normally notice who else is bidding-- sorry if I step on anyone's toes. The only fly in the ointment with this plan is the following from eBay: "To help keep the eBay community safe, enhance bidder privacy, and protect our members from fraudulent emails (such as fake second chance offers), eBay has changed how bid history information is displayed. If you place a bid on a higher-priced item, only you and the seller of the item can view your User ID in the bid history. Other members can no longer view User IDs and will see anonymous names, such as Bidder 1." I also use sniping to bid on the items I want. "Set it and forget it" and no bidding wars. |
