As a reformed audiophile, looking at all the esoteric watch designs (love the Cabestan chain drive and the Uhrwerk watches) reminds me of the exotic stereo components that I used to drool over.  Western Electric 300B class A tube amps, tube CD players, electrostatic speakers and plasma tweeters, Futterman transformerless output power amps, purple heart wooden moving coil phono cartridges etc. etc.
Very cool and extremely expensive :D

If I ever won the lottery, I would have watches like that and the stereo components too.  Single ended tube monoblocks, Lowther single driver horns or maybe a pair of Klipschorns, VPI table/SME arm/Koetsu moving coil cartridge for my LP collection...oh yeah, I can't forget the Zippos... a 1933, Disney, RCA, '69 Moon landing, Kennecott solid Copper, metalliques...LOL

Cheers,
Griff

I just checked, they still make the same headphones (Form 2)!  I'll be calling tomorrow to get new earpads :D

I always liked Sennheiser 'phones, have them at work and their mics too.  I have too many 'phones at home, Grado, B&O, Beyer Dynamic, Sennheiser and even an old pair of Koss 4A's. :D

I still want a pair of AKG K240's...they were my favorite in the studio though Sennheiser's in the radio booth...good times.

I have a pair of the k-110m series. they seem to give a rich stereo effect with some bass kit. I use them for the keyboard.

I"ll post some pics of my stereo system. not to brag or anything. One of my fathers partners gave me 6 radiator style speakers. 2 are flat and 3 inches thick. 4 are pyramid shaped. of course theres no speakers inside. They put out 6000 watts. There are 8 amps in tandem to run the setup. I don't use it anymore, but it does look cool.

Electrostatic speakers???  Nice...
When I bought my pair of Vandersteens (years ago) I listened to some Martin Logan electrostats, what a great sound.  A great price tag too, 5 times what I paid for mine.

My system is "faded glory", all gear from the 80's, half of which I built or modified myself when I had time, LOL.  Hafler, Marantz, Adcom, Sony, Philips, SSI, Audio Control, SOTA table/Premier arm/Shure V15 cartridge (which I just found out is discontinued and no stylus available anymore :X)  I pretty much listen to LP's and my iPod through it since I ripped all my CD's to iTunes.

I'd love to see the electrostats.  I was just teaching my Audio production students about them, they never saw anything like it.

Cheers,
Griff
