Just picked up a copy of Norma Buchanan's "The Watch Buff's Book of Trivia."
It's a very interesting read! Highly recommended.
So, I thought I'd post a few for fun:
- If one of the founders of Baume and Mercier had not changed his name, what would the company now be called? (p.118)
- Why did one U.S. President instruct an aide to "get rid of" a gold Rolex given to him for his birthday? (p.12)
- During his first Presidential campiagn, and his first term in office, Bill Clinton was criticized in the press, and by at least one Swiss watch company for wearing a watch its detrators deemed unworthy of high office. What watch was it? (p.9)
