This is by far the most accurate watch I have had on my wrist...I know it's a 7S26, but this one is spot on! time2.gif Left resting for 12 hours, running around on beach etc...spot on with official US clock. Keeper. Attachment: Thinker.jpg (Downloaded 50 times)

Hey Skip, I can't seem to get bored with this one... It's comfortable and I am transfixed on the dial every time I look at it. Has that retro cool going. At $254 US from Higuchi, I figure it's worth a shot. You could always flip it on Ebay for more $$. I see em there for $400!!!!!! PS: So far scratch free.. been to beach twice, played ball, frisbee etc took a few direct hits from sand encrusted objects and no scratches. My guess is the guys who have mentioned the tendency to scracth, are prob the going to scratch SS as easily. Then Again, my watches tend to look mint 5 yrs down the road.. Sounds good. I tend to baby most of my watches except the beaters. Don't worry about those much. :) But yea looking at what some of the watches go for at the Bay wow! I see many watches on there and can say I know where they likely picked up the watch and the price. Many get some very good flip turn around pocket change. :D The Seiko Sammy dose look cool. Can't wait to have one on the wrist and in the collection. ;)

Very cool Eric - at that price, it can't be beat. And I somtimes think the japanese movements can run better than some others of recent discussion. :cool:

My Ti Sammy has been phenomenal as well, by far the best Seiko auto movement I have hand6.gif My bracelet was scratched courtesy of our good friends in the Transportation Safety Administration when I took it off to go through the security checkpoint at the airport. When I got back from Florida, a few swipes with my handy Walthers model railroad track cleaner (looks like a Pink Pearl eraser with fine abrasive particles suspended in it) took the scratches right off. Works great on brushed stainless too :D Cheers, Griff

Congrats on the ti Samurai. I think it has a 7s25 movement (less one jewel since it doesn't have a day on the date), instead of the 7s26. I've had four Samurais (ti black, ti blue, ss black, and ti orange) and only have the orange one left now. They all ran around 20s fast per day.

I prefer the Sammie TI over the Scuba. For me, the Scuba got a bit plain after a week of owning it. Also, everytime I saw a picture of a Sammie, I could not look at my Scuba and think, yeah..I got the right Seiko. My Scuba was around 11 seconds fast per day, this Ti Sammie is impressively faithful per day, in fact I was wondering if the Titanium shielded the movt from interference?? By far more accurate than my old SS Samurai. This Ti is by far the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. The weight is actually very nice.. I thought it would be much lighter in fact. The blue dial is sick! This dial just has that old school, Connery-Kicks-@ss, vibe about it. Bond... 60s 70s man watch  Scuba seemed less business/smart in comparison to the Sammie in my opinion.
