Is the only vendor for a new Doxa direct from the dealer?

That is the best way to go. Or you can go gray market if you don't care as much about warranty stuff. Like amazon.com :?

Even if you buy it from Amazon, its direct from DOXA.  Hurry up if you want the DOXA web price - come July 1st, all prices go up to retail!  From what I hear there is a mad rush on DOXAs right now before the prices go up, so you have few days left.

And since we are all *enablers* here, a couple pics to sway you to the DOXAholic way!

I can say I am getting more and more tempted. But in July or august i have to chill out some and reorganize to get myself something sweet for my B-day or Christmas.

Yeah I'll repeat what I said above.  If you do not buy before the end of June, you'll be paying much higher prices as DOXA is moving up to a retail pricing scheme (web prices will also go up quite a bit).  So, like Pax also said above, if you ever wanted one, NOW is the time (you have two days left!).  For more details you can check the DOXA forum on WUS where they posted the announcement.

I was inquiring about a 1000T.  They told me that if you order now, you will receive your watch in August.  I'm not supposed to buy watches anymore but I'm seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on a 1000T sharkhunter.toon1.gif

From what I read, the 1000T's will begin shipping middle of July, but there have already been a ton of preorders, so August sounds right for delivery date.

Eric, you are correct.  The following is from the live chat with Doxa:

......
[RAREM5] ok. how long it takes to get my watch if I order today or tomorrow?
[DOXA_CS2] That is a tricky question. Right now the watches are going through testing and regulation. They are expected to be ready for shipping this week.
[DOXA_CS2] Let me check something.
[RAREM5] ok. thanks
[DOXA_CS2] Yes, if you order now it will ship in August.
[DOXA_CS2] Because of people who ordered before you will ship first and there is a long list.
.......

Looks like Doxa is gonna move a lot of product. Well deserved and thank goodness the broo-ha-ha surrounding them has subsided...  These do look smashing!!

Bring on the Divingstar or Searambler!!

Yeah I admit I used to think, what is the big deal with DOXA.  Then I got my hands on one and was instantly hooked - its such a unique design with a great history.  Their enthusiastic fanbase doesn't hurt either.
