I was at JCPenney getting some portraits of the kids when I stumbled upon this beauty.  As well as a orange one.  I like it, just don't like the price.  I never check out the watches there.  I usually quickly run by......  One, because I'm always late.  Two, because the selection sucks......  Untiiiiiiiiiiil now.

Anyone, Anyone?  Bueller, Bueller?

That's the new so called 'Land Monster'. Similar hands to the Monster divers, but with a 'compass' inner bezel.  I also have been watching these on the bay - they have a nice orange dial version as well... they seem to run around $250 or so.

Here you can read a little more info on them than some sites have.

Thanks dawg.  Looks like JC is the cheapest price out there right now.  At least taking the 15-25% discount every week into account.  I may have to check it out.  I will have to let the excitement of seeing a new attainable Seiko wear off.  I might not even like it after that happens.  No more impulse buying.  I'm saving money right now.  You know whatta I mean?

I bought one of these after Christmas.  I really liked the black face model but they all had the stainless steel braclet.  So I bought a Hadley-Romo rubber strap and changed it out with the stainless steel one.  It looks awesome!  It's my second favorite watch now to my Breitling................

I have had my eye on that watch for a while too.  But alas, others are getting priority for now.  Enjoy your new watch, great catch.hand6.gifhand6.gif

PS  that thread was over a year old that you posted to.;)
