Anyone have experience with Amazon's Watch Pavillion? Customer service? I'm having an issue with them and would like to know if I'm the exception or the rule. Thanks

their positive feedback hovers around the high 80's; so I'd say you're not alone.

That's too bad. I ordered a Seiko Monster that didn't come with paperwork. They advertise that their watches come with a full international warranty. I've e-mailed several times with no response . . . Last edited on Wed Aug 1st, 2007 08:04 am by glock24 |

they've also been reprimanded by amazon in the past due to 'non-conforming' listings. (I'm an Amazon merchant as well) Good luck. thanks- Marc

I hear ya . . . I just wanted the paperwork for my collection's sake, and I paid more to get the paperwork by using The Watch Pavilion. I'm upset that I didn't receive papers, yet they advertise otherwise. If they want to sell gray market watches that is fine with me. I just wish they'd advertise accordingly. Next time I'll go Asian. I've been having great luck with Boris lately. Last edited on Wed Aug 1st, 2007 02:41 pm by glock24 |

there's two types of sellers on Amazon. 1) Amazon directly 2) Everybody else (like me and Watch Pavillion) If there is an issue with an item, its handled by that particular vendor. If the item was purchased from Amazon themselves, then Amazon will take care of it. Make sense? thanks- Marc O.A. Gaspar wrote: glock24 wrote:

With issues I have seen family and friends have I go direct to the vendor if I can or if Amazon has it direct from them I go that route. I try to squeeze out all those middle man issues that can arise. But I shop AD, gray market and pre-owned often so there is always going to be a chance of risk along the way. Especially with this kind of hobby.

yes, correct. When in doubt, file an "A to Z" claim with Amazon. They'll rectify the situation.
