The new DOXA SUB1000T Divingstar Dear friends and forum members, I truely appreciate your participation in the Divingstar poll, the feedback, as usual, gives us the confidence that we are on the right track.

Please let me introduce the new SUB1000T Divingstar, same technical specifications as the SUB1000T Professional. Same yellow tone as the SUB750T GMT Divingstar dial (just to get a feeling of the yellow color, as it might appear different on various types of monitors and different color calibrations)

Estimated delivery is one week from now, price for returning customers is $1590.00.

Order link for returning customers only: PLEASE CLICK HERE

I almost put this up for sale on the bay last night but then I came to me sense's. Does the yellow look the same? Looks pretty close to me.

That pic of the 1000 doesn't look as dark as the 750. I like that shade they chose there!

The yellow dial color is identical in the new 1000 DivingStar. It only apprears different do to different lighting & color contrasts in different photos.

Not the same color.  Doxa sez the 1000DS is the same color as the 750DS GMT.  The GMT yellow is distinctly "Oranger" than the LE 600DS.

A NewYorker transplanted into UT country, the wife detests anything that even hints of Orange.  She hated my 750DS GMT!

I'm with you Dawg!  Paler yellow is gorgeous, newer more mustard yellow makes quite a statement as well.

Doxa's not fooling around on this one. Ordered mine yesterday, already have FedEX tracking #!

Vic... Victor... where have I heard that name before... Hmmm.

S'possed to be some Vic up in NYC who has a watch or two, I wonder...

Think you'll like this one Vic.  Doxa's "new" yellow is just "deeper".  Doesn't look the least little bit Orange-ish unless compared side-by-side w/ the earlier DS.

Welcome Vic!

If FedEX is to be believed (..and I have to admit I'm not holding my breath on that one) I should have a new Divingstar on my wrist before lunch today!

GRRR!!!  If they made it in the 750T size, I'd be all over it, but the 1000T just feels small when put side by side with the 750T, so I'll have to pass on this one for now.  Still looks great though, although I have another special yellow diver incoming which should give the DOXA a run for its money...

I agree with you Eric. I have the Sub 600 Divingstar, same size as the 1000T and am a little disappointed with the size. The Sub 750T is perfect for me in every way.

I really bought the Sub 600 for the wife to wear but it looks too big on her wrist and she won't wear it and since I got her Tudor Ladies Hydronaut dive watch serviced she won't take it off.

When I wore the Divingstar one time it just looked too small for me. It sure is a beautiful watch though. Too bad I will rarely wear it. Maybe my tastes will change someday and if I still have it I can give it the wrist time it truly deserves.

This is one reason that many of the people I work with like my 750T Pro.  They ask, "is that a UT watch?"mistake.gif
