I have to second the choice for the Ocean 7 G-2. This is one fantastic quartz watch! The quality is excellent and the coolness factor is high on this one. The price is slightly over your $400 mark but well worth it. I've had mine about 3 weeks now, very happy with it.:D

Q-U-A-R-T-Z??? O-M-G!!! That said, I would recommend the Seiko SNA281 Alarm Chronograph. Solid, well built, accurate, reputable company...if you have no need for an alarm, the alarm dial can track a 2nd time zone! ![]()
