Just got this advance pic of a new Riedenschild release for this fall.  The DSD Extreme - supposedly substantial enough to withstand being run over by a tank (and they have a video to prove it)...

So, if I'm wearing the watch and I get run over by a tank, the watch will be ok? mistake.gif

Well I guess if you got about a hundred of these and put them all over your body, then you would OK too?  :?

Oh my my, glad I waited. Marc now I really like this one. The one before was just kind of sorta but this is very cool. Are they going with a Swiss or Japan movement? Either way I like allot! ;)

They would have to hose what's left of you off the watch, Mike...

And that is a brutal looking piece. Is it Miyota powered?

I imagine it will use the same engine as the DSD Pro, which is the 8215...

I'm a big black and orange fan but that black and red just pops. I bet in person it looks 10 times better so it would be awesome watch eye candy. I need to go grab a drool bucket. All the watches I have seen so far this weekend is going to cause me to flood my office here. LOL :D

AT say $500 a piece (just guessing) that would mean I would have to spend 50 grand to save my hyde. I dunno. My wife might take the 50 grand. :D

Well either that or just stay out of the way of any tank coming your direction... :D

Yeah Mike, how often do you cross paths with heavy weapons? Is the MSRP really 5 bills?

If on a ss bracelet I could see them going $500 maybe but on rubber it should not be above $425 looking at what the others of the type have gone for.

So a good sales list should be under $400 some where I would guestimate.

I have no idea of the MSRP. I was just guessing.

As for the tanks, some of the Hummers out here are darn near as big. :D

I spoke with James about this watch at the Vegas show this year. They are very excited about it. Price? Dunno. But 5 or 6 bills is probably in the correct ballpark. Figure web price will be 15% less to compete with my friends over at SAH.

Thanks-
Marc

Nice, but way to much $$$ for a Miyota based watch, with little resale value..especially on a rubber strap. You can get a Seastar for less than that.

JMHO of course..and I love PVD:)
