Can you measure the link size that connects to the endpiece, and is it tapered or straight?  Bracelet kinda looks like a watchadoo, and someone may have a spare link if the size is right.  Maybe a pic of the other side to show the link that you are missing?

... and welcome aboard 3T too...  hand6.gif

You want me to answer this in a serious way?

If you do call Invicta in Miramar FL., I use to live on 82nd Ave. something tells me that they may have what you need.  Now if they are going to sell it to you is another story all together.

Yep call Invicta that's who makes Potger-Pietri and that is a factory bracelet...Good Luckhand6.gif but why do you need a link is it too small?..if not just pop the link pin and those 2 little links will fall out from the broken link and just reattach it to the endlink :)

My advice is to purchase a 20mm bracelet to get installed on it here is a link for one I really like for the money.  It is a better quality than the factory one.  They have polishing clothes also that have compound in it to polish the scratches out of the case.

I would also recommend the better quality after market bracelet. You might be able to get the Invicta Group to get you a new link but it could take some time. ;)

Ok, so i literally know squat about watches..

I'm not looking to spend a zillion dollars on this watch as i want to sell it. Does anyone know how much i could sell it for on ebay?

I know it retails for a ridiculous amount.. but my boyfriend couldn't care less about it.

So, if i had to get a new strap..does it matter that the new strap doesn't say PP? Will that decrease the value?

And where would i find a new "bracelet? "

Thanks guys for all your help!

Muah,

Angie

Welcome Angie,

You've got a couple of routes you can try. As far as contacting the manufacturer for a replacement, I would say it's a crap-shoot. Getting them on the phone is difficult, and finding someone who can get you the right part is going to be even tougher. PP is owned by Invicta watches, so you could go that route. Considering the band is pretty scratched up/well worn, I would seriously consider going a different route, especially as you plan on selling it. You could get a Watchadoo bracelet that should fit pretty well, as the end links (the links that attach to the watch case itself) are flat on the end, rather than curved (as they would be for a round watch case). The watchadoo bracelets are a little pricey, and I would guess it wouldn't be worth it. The watch on a good bracelet would probably sell for $100-$150 on ebay, as it's a quartz. Pay absolutely no attention to the retail value you were told, as it's pure fiction. There are new PP's on the 'bay that have Swiss automatic movements, and they aren't selling at the $200 mark. A quartz model, not to mention a used one, wouldn't be worth as much. Sorry for that bad news.

If it were me, I'd try buying a nice brown croc-pattern strap from someone like the watchprince. If you look at the bottom of this page, you'll see banners for a couple of different strap sellers. You measure between the lugs, keeping in mind the strap has to fit completely inside it, and straps are sold in millimeters. If you're not sure, you could probably have a jewelry store measure it for you. If you go the strap route, get a deployant clasp (either silver or gold colored, whichever matches the case color of the watch) at the same time. Saves shipping costs, and makes it look nice.

One last suggestion. Depending on how large the present bracelet is sized for, you might be able to take it to a jewelry store and have them remove the section at the end, which might allow you to reattach the link.

Good luck, hope something turns out for. BTW, don't buy a strap and clasp from a jewelry store, they are VERY overpriced. One of the vendors here can very easily beat their prices for a good strap and clasp.
