And why!!!

As I mentioned in my intro post I'm looking...

I'm stuck beteween two...

1) UTS 500m

2) New style NauticFish 1000m

Keep in mind I do tend to flip things and don't like this hobby costing me too much! ;)

Both are good looking watches but I would have to go for the UTS between the 2 for the reputation of building a very solid watch. But that is me. ;)

Absolutely NO slight intended to Nauticfish.. but I don't believe there's much comparison between these two.

UTS watchs are SO industrial strength that if you are up for mil spec hardware on your wrist they simply can't be beat.

Downside is a somewhat limited awareness out there, if you're buying it looking to flip soon realise the UTS may well take longer to trade away.

But for a keeper I'd go UTS all the way!

Not a huge fan of the Teutonic school of design, but if I were to grab either of these it would surely be the UTS. JMHO!!

I have a UTS 3000m and really like it, wear it often.  Would I purchase it again, don't think so.  Personally I like the UTS 1000m with the orange dial.  Since that is not an option go with the 500M or the Stowa diver with the Rhodium dial (platinum family of elements to the non chemists out there) what ever it is called.

Just a thought.

I just got off the phone with a customer who owns 5 UTS watches. ABSOLUTELY loves them, hands down.

So, I say the same!

Silly as this may sound I'm leaning towards both...  The case and the sky blue dial on the NF I like alot...

From all the positive comments on the UTS it seams to be a natural as well.

Just think, I'm doing exactly what I tell my kids not to do!

Pic one and only one! :)

Don't know much about either, but am somewhat turned off by NautiFish's US distributor!

Do you want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth???

I went against the popular opinion and grabbed the NF.  Toughest part about this hobby is not being able to "see it, feel it, smell it".

Grabbed it today and I'm lukewarm about it.  Case style is really nice, sky blue dial is great, but the overall quality is really not what I expected at this price point.

There are days I do not like this hobby... :?

Yo Jeff, We're not the watch police!  We're yer buds!

If it's not all you'd hoped, take some pics.. tell us where it's letting you down.. and cook up a great ad for TZ!

It's all a learning experience pal!  I've been through waay too many stinkers to find the few keepers I have.

*(..and okay, maybe I've let a few go I should have kept!)

Pics...  I really despise taking pics, especially since I travel so much...

All in all it's pretty nice, just the fit and finish aren't up to what I would have expected at that price point.

 Live and learn!

TZ, yup thats the answer!

Hey Jeff Concats on the pickup, tell us all about it.   There is only about 1 wrist shot out there showing this watch.  May you could take a couple Pics and post them.  "KENC" come give us the scoop on the Nauticfish Distributor, whats up with that comment?
