anyone have experience with the riedenschild watches. seen on IW site.

i owe a watch buddy of mine a couple of not so small favors and have narrowed it to one of the ones below. just wondered if anyone had comments to any of them.

1. Riedenschild Auto Diver Pro

2. "                   Grand Prix Chrono

3. Orient Analog/digital, quartz.  (he likes the breitling with similar style)

thanks for feedback.

Mike,

Wish I could help with the 1st 2, but have never owned one......the Orient Ani-digi is a great watch for the money......only negative is that it has no back light for the digital portion for night time use.:)

Based on the Orient model you've chosen, I would go with the Riedenschild Grand Prix (since apparently he must like quartz?)...  Marc at IW can help you out on whichever one you choose... hand6.gif

Go with the Diver Pro the citizen movement rocks and the design is good from what I have seen.  In fact I think I will PM Marc about one my self.

The moral to the story is go with what you like, personally I like auto's.

thanks, i like the auto's myself but since this is a gift and funds are not unlimited the quartz are winning out.  i like the citizen movement as well.  i would like to get him a auto but the cooler styles (my opinion) in auto are somewhat over the budget right now.

thanks for the help.
